Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on the 21st of September the 21st of September 1983 in Worthington Ohio is an American actor. She is famous for playing Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills as well in ABC's Lost television show. Maggie Grace, originally from Worthington located in Ohio dropped out of high school in order to move in Los Angeles after her divorced parents divorced. They were struggling to survive when she got her first part in the acting world in Rachel's Room's lead character. The TV film Murder in Greenwich, in which she played 15-years-old Martha Moxley earned her the nomination for a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford, the character in Lost from 2004 until 2005 was selected for an Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace was forced to quit the show in order to focus on her professional film work. She had starred alongside Tom Welling opposite in The Fog back in 2005. In addition, she appeared in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club (both 2007) as well as opposite Liam Neeson as Kim Mills in Taken in 2008. The actress reprised her character in Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a modern version to Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace returned to Shannon's character in Lost for two episodes. This included the finale of the series. The actress was featured in 2013's seventh season Californication. The character she plays is Faith who's the star-gazer and a groupie. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her. She's the child of Stephen Gyllenhaal (director) and Naomi Achs (producer), and is more senior than Jake Gyllenhaal. When she was in her teens she appeared in small roles in her father's movies and she co-starred alongside her sister in Donnie Darko, a popular cult movie. Then she appeared as a character in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal's leading roles in Secretary, an erotico-romantic comedy, as well as Sherrybaby (a drama) have earned her nominations to the Golden Globe Award.
